Surefire Print Collective is an artist cooperative dedicated to the creation, promotion and distribution of fine art printmaking. We believe in the cultural relevance of printmaking as a platform for diverse voices and stories, and as a medium uniquely well-suited to the needs of emerging artists. Crucially, our members are all “artist-printmakers”: each artist prints their own work, such that the artist’s hand is involved at every step in the process.
Surefire exists as a way to facilitate multiple artists’ participation in the print ecosystem: members share resources, lead skillshares, host events, and band together as-needed to show work at art markets and print fairs. Together, we can achieve so much more as artists than we ever could alone.
